Licensed Medicines

At Just for Pets, we pleased to be able to offer our customers the following licensed flea and worming treatments:

- Advantage
- Drontal
- Frontline PLUS

In order for us to be able to do this, we have invested in Suitably Qualified Persons (SQP’s) in our stores, and at our Head Office, to safely dispense these products to you. To become an SQP these team members have attended a course and sat the relevant exams to gain the SQP qualification and gain CPD (Continued Professional Development) points on an ongoing basis.

To purchase the above lines through our website, please add the products to your basket and complete the short, required, questionnaire on your pets and our SQP’s will check your information and either dispense to you or contact you, should they have any further questions regarding your order.

Please be aware it is a legal requirement that the SQP’s receive your pet’s details and review the order, to ensure the correct type and strength of licensed product has been ordered.

Suitably Qualified Persons cannot supply a restricted veterinary medication that is outside of the weight, age, and species requirements of the product you intend to purchase. Orders that do not meet these criteria will be cancelled and refunded.

Complaint’s procedure

We sincerely hope you never have to, but understand that sometimes, despite everyone’s best efforts, things can go wrong. If you wish to complain about our service then write an email and use the phrase Complaint (or something similar) in the subject line then send this to info@justforpets.co.uk  Please add in as much information as you can with the complaint (eg order number, customer number, couriers etc) as this will help us analyse what went wrong, work out why and to correct it. Alternatively, you can lodge your complaint by post. In which case send it to:

Complaints About Veterinary Medicine

If you have a complaint about the quality of a veterinary medicine, please contact us in the first instance. You can find our complaints policy in our Terms & Conditions. However, if you feel that we haven’t resolved your complaint satisfactorily, you can contact the  VMD.

No medicine is risk free and all medicines have the potential to cause adverse effects. Some of the adverse effects are known about and these are explained in the product’s SPC. Others that may only rarely occur or are specific for certain breeds or groups of animals may only be seen when the products are used more widely. If you suspect that you or your animal has had an adverse reaction to a veterinary medicine, or you think the medicine hasn’t worked as it should have done, report it to the VMD using the form available via the link below: Here.
