As we enter October, the temperatures are cooling down and wild birds require more nutrition which they can't always find in nature as resources become more sparse.

The RSPB set up the Feed the Birds Day as a yearly reminder to keep feeding wild birds during the Autumn and Winter seasons. For those who have yet to experience the joys of feeding and observing wild birds in action in their back garden, this is a great opportunity to start a habit that wild birds will be grateful for!

This year, the National Day falls on 23rd October.
